Terms of use

The agreement between you, a teacher, and RaksoEd Solutions when you use SchoolAide Lite.

1. Free, permanently

SchoolAide Lite is free for individual teachers. It is not a trial and there is nothing to upgrade to. If your school later becomes a SchoolAide tenant, your classes can move there with you; nothing is taken away if it does not.

2. Who may use it

You confirm that you are a teacher, that the learner data you upload concerns learners you actually teach or advise, and that you have a lawful basis to record it. You keep it accurate, and you remove or mark as transferred learners who leave your class. One account is yours alone; do not share your password or let another person encode under your name.

3. Grades and documents

Grades are computed under the DepEd order that applies to the class you set up, using the weights and transmutation table in that order. Every report card, class record, certificate and export generated here is a working copy and not an official DepEd record. You remain responsible for checking a grade before you release it and for whatever your school requires beyond this app. If you change the transmutation table, the change and its effect are shown to you before it applies and are recorded.

4. Learners and guardians

A report card link is sent only to the address you enter for a learner or guardian. A learner under 18 gets a portal account only after a guardian consents. When you release a term, you are stating that those grades are ready for the learners and guardians you named to see.

5. Fair use

Quotas apply per account and rise once your account is verified. Uploading rosters you do not teach, mass-emailing, scraping, probing other teachers' data, or anything that is not a teacher's own gradebook may lead to suspension, and where learner data is at risk, to the account being removed.

6. Availability and support

We aim to keep the service available and we back it up, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Support is offered through our Facebook page during Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no committed response time. The help center inside the app is the primary support surface. Keep your own copies of anything you must not lose: exports are one click away in Settings.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, RaksoEd Solutions is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service, including a grade that was encoded or released in error. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Philippine law.

8. Ending the agreement

You may delete your account from Settings at any time; a 30-day grace period follows before your data is purged. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and we tell you why. Sections 3 and 7 survive the end of the agreement.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the app before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and disputes are brought before the courts of the city where RaksoEd Solutions is registered.
