Where you encode
My subjects → the subject → Class record. Learners run down the left, activities across the top under their DepEd component, and the term grade is the last column on the right.
The terms sit above the grid. Click one, or press its number — 1, 2, 3 — to switch.
Typing a score
- Click a cell, or press an arrow key to move into one.
- Type the score.
- Press Enter. The cell saves on its own and the caret drops to the next learner.
There is no save button. The badge above the grid says Saving…, then All changes saved with the time. A cell that is refused turns red and a box appears beside it saying what is wrong.
Moving without the mouse
- Arrow keys move a cell. ← and → cross to the next activity once the caret reaches the start or end of what you typed.
- Enter goes down one learner. Tab goes across one activity.
- X excuses that learner from the activity.
- Esc dismisses an error, or leaves focus mode.
- ? opens Keys for this page.
Press a letter on its own when the caret is not in a cell. While you are typing in one, hold Alt with it so the letter reaches the page and not the score.
Focus mode
Press F, or Encode in focus mode. Everything but the grid goes away and the grid fills the window, so it scrolls like a spreadsheet. Esc leaves.
The three columns on the right
INITIAL is the initial grade, before the transmutation table. ADJ. is points you add to it before the table is read — blank is none, and it accepts a signed number between -100 and 100. TERM GRADE opens Explain this grade when you click it.
If the connection drops
The cell says so: That did not save — the connection dropped. What you typed stays in the cell. Press Enter again once you are back online.
