One score
Click the cell, type the new score, press Enter. The old value is replaced and the change goes on the audit trail with who made it. To take the cell back to nothing recorded, clear it and press Enter — that is a blank, not a zero.
"That score is higher than the total points"
The cell is refused and keeps the value it had. Two things it can be:
- The score is a typo. Retype it.
- The activity's total is wrong. Open the column's ⋮ → Edit activity and correct Total points. It can be raised freely. It cannot go below a score already recorded: Some learners already scored 22 on this activity, so the total cannot go below that. Lower those scores first, then the total.
A score is a plain number like 18 or 17.5. Negatives are refused.
A whole column typed into the wrong activity
- Paste or retype the scores into the activity they belong to, so the right column is correct first.
- Clear the wrong column: click its top cell, press Delete, then Enter, and repeat down the column. Cleared cells are blank, so they are out of the computation entirely.
If you need the grade to be right before you finish clearing, open Activities → the activity's ⋮ → Leave out of the grade. The scores stay where they are and the activity drops out of the term grade until you choose Count it again. It is shown struck through and tagged Left out while it is out.
An activity deleted by mistake
Deleting hides the activity and its scores together — nothing is erased — but there is no undo button. Add the activity again with the same component and total points, and encode the scores. If those scores cannot be re-encoded, message our Facebook page with your support reference, the subject and the activity title, and we will look. We answer during business hours and cannot promise a time.
