Opening it
Click a learner's name on the roster, on the Grades table, or on the learners-to-look-at list. The profile is a private working view for you and the section's teachers — nothing on it prints, and the learner never sees it.
Grades by learning area
The table shows what the card reports: each grading period as the engine computed it, how the latest reading moved against the one before, and the final grade with any remedial recomputation. The row underneath averages each period across the areas — it stays a dash while any area is missing, because an average over half the subjects is not the learner's average.
Where to look first
When a current reading sits below 80, the profile opens it up: which component the points left from, and the single counted score that cost the most of itself. For a grouped subject it points at the actual gradebook — Music or PE, not MAPEH — because that is where the fixable scores live. From there, Open the class record and its Explain panel shows every number and the shortest routes back.
What to do next
Each line names what was found and the fix, worst first: an area below 75, absences past the 20% line, a sharp fall, blanks on administered activities, real zeros. A blank is not a zero — it keeps a term grade from computing until it is recorded or excused, and the line says which.
The side panels
The roster facts (status, card delivery, whether the LRN is on file — the number itself stays encrypted), this learner's at-risk signals, attendance per period, the observed values as the class sheet holds them, the observation log, and any recorded grade adjustments with their notes.
If a number looks wrong
Correct it where it was encoded — the class record, the register, the conduct grid. The profile recomputes nothing; it follows.
