Four seats, no sign-up
The front page has Try the demo class. It seats you in one of four places on two made-up sections:
- The adviser — a Grade 7 section mid-year (Term 1 released, Term 2 half encoded) and a Grade 11 Senior High School section complete from Term 1 to Term 3, with all three terms' report cards released. The SHS class runs the Strengthened Curriculum shape: 2-unit cores across the year, 3-unit one-term electives, and a general average weighed by units × the terms each subject runs.
- A subject teacher — one Mathematics gradebook on the Grade 7 section. Encode a score and watch it reach the adviser's cards.
- A learner — the portal account a learner gets after a guardian consents. Released report cards only, and nothing before that.
- A parent — the link a guardian is emailed when a term is released. Parents get no account in SchoolAide Lite; that link is the whole of it.
What is real and what is not
Every learner, teacher and grade in the demo is invented. No real school and no real child is involved, none of it is a DepEd record, and nothing you do there reaches a real inbox. The class is rebuilt from scratch every night, so anything you change is gone by morning. Look at anything; change anything.
Getting back to your own account
Entering a demo seat signs you out of whatever you were in first, so the demo can never land inside a real gradebook. A banner across the top says which seat you are in, and Set up my own gradebook signs you out of the demo and takes you to sign-up. Nothing from the demo comes with you — not a class, not a learner, not a score.
If you were already signed in to your own account and used a demo seat, just sign in again. Nothing of yours was touched.
When you want the same thing inside your own account
Use the sample class instead. It sits in your own account, every feature works on it, and you delete it in one step when you are done.
