The QR on a card and what it proves

Scanning opens a public page that says whether SchoolAide Lite issued that card and whether it still stands. No grades are shown there.

One answer, with what teachers ask next on the same screen underneath it.

  • Say whether it helped at the bottom of the article. That is the only way we learn it is wrong.
  • Anything in a green box is what the DepEd order says; anything in amber is where teachers get caught.

Every SF9 layout prints a Record verification box: a QR beside the reference code, like SL-7RK2-M9XQ. Every merit card design carries one too, with an SM- reference. The Learner's Progress Report for Kindergarten to Grade 3 prints the reference in its header and footer without a QR.

Scanning it with any phone camera opens a public page. Anyone can use it — a receiving school, a school head, a parent. Nobody needs an account.

What the page says

  • Current. "This document checks out." Below it are the facts already on the paper: what the document is, the learner, the class, the school, the school year, and the date and revision it was issued under.
  • Revoked. "This release was taken back." The adviser withdrew the release this card belongs to; it should not be relied on.
  • Withdrawn. The same, for a merit card the adviser withdrew.
  • Preview. "A card marked PREVIEW was never released." Someone scanned a preview print. Its numbers can still change.
  • Not found. "No document matches this code."

What it never shows

No grade, no score, and never the LRN. The page shows only what the printed card already shows, so a code in the wrong hands gives away nothing the paper did not.

What if

  • "No document matches this code." Check the code under the QR against what you typed — it is letters and digits in three parts. A card printed outside SchoolAide Lite lands here, and so does a code from a class whose data has since been deleted.
  • The QR will not scan. The reference under it is the same thing. The address is the site's /v/ page followed by the code.
  • A parent asks whether the card is official. It is a working copy, not an official DepEd record — every card says so in its footer. The verification page confirms who issued it and that it still stands; the school's own signed record is still the school's.
