Add one learner
- Learners → Add a learner.
- Fill in Last name and First name. Those are the only required fields — everything else can follow later, and nothing else blocks a grade.
- Press Add learner.
Middle name, suffix, LRN, gender, birthdate, the learner's email, the guardian's name and email, and a private note are all optional. The note is only ever seen by you: it is never printed and never sent.
Edit one learner
Press Edit at the end of the learner's row, then Edit details. The same panel opens with the current values in it, and the button reads Save learner.
How the list is ordered
The roster is in DepEd order by default: male alphabetical, then female alphabetical, then anyone whose gender is not recorded. That is what the SF1 and the class record expect. Use the Order picker at the top of the list to switch to Alphabetical, one list by surname.
Gender is what places a learner in that order, so a roster with no gender recorded comes out as one alphabetical block.
Names are shown the way DepEd forms write them — Dela Cruz, Princess Nicole M. The report card uses the other order, Princess Nicole M. Dela Cruz.
Finding someone
Find a learner at the top of the list matches on first name or last name as you type.
Taking a copy
Download the class list exports the roster to Excel: names, LRN, gender, birthdate, emails, guardian, and status, in DepEd order.
If the page is read-only
On a subject gradebook that is linked to an adviser's class, the roster is shown but not editable — the adviser's roster is the source of truth for who is in the section, so learners are added and edited there. The note at the top of the page links straight to it. Your activities and scores are untouched by that.
